There is no day like yours o’ Hussain 
There is no doubt that the greatest and the most painful massacre in history was the martyrdom of Hussain (PBUH) and his 72 companions on the day of Ashura.
Imam Hussain (PBUH) was the prophet Muhammad’s grandson who was surrounded by an army of 30,000 people in Karbala, with no water for three days! They fought deliberately in the battlefield but they were all killed and beheaded one by one in front of their families on one day which is called Ashura.
Following the martyrdom of Hussain (PBUH) and his companions, their bodies were trampled by the hoofs of the horses, their tents were burnt in fire and their women and children including Lady Zeinab (PBUH), the prophet Muhammad’s granddaughter, were all captured and moved along with their heads toward the Levant.

Ghadir is the day #ImamAli (PBUH) was announced by the holy prophet Muhammad (PBUH) as his rightful successor
Ghadir Khumm is a place between the two cities of Mecca and Medina where the holy prophet Muhammad (PBUH) stopped while he was returning from his last Hajj pilgrimage and waited for three days till all the people gathered. Then, he held up Imam Ali’s hand and said:
من کنت مولاه فهذا علی مولاه
“for whoever I am his leader, this Ali is his leader.”

The affliction of the world and the reward of the hereafter | A quote by Imam Hadi Naqi
Congratulation for the birthday of Imam Hadi Naqi, the 10th Shia imam, to Imam Mahdi (may God hasten his reappearance) and all the believers.
God made this world as the home of affliction, the hereafter as the home of reward, the affliction of this world as the mean for the hereafter’s reward and the hereafter’s reward as the compensation for this world’s affliction.

قالَ الإمامُ الهادى علیهالسلام:
اِنَّ اللّهَ جَعَلَ الدُّنیا دارَ بَلْوى وَالاْخِرَةَ دارَ عُقْبى وَجَـعَلَ بَـلوَى الدُّنیا لِثَـوابِ الاْخِـرَةِ سَبَبَا وَثَوابَ الاْخِرَةِ مِنْ بَلوَى الدُّنیا عِوَضا.
امام هادى علیه السلام فرمود: خداوند، دنیا را جاى گرفتارى قرار داده و آخــرت را سـراى پـاداش، گرفتارى دنیا را سبب ثواب آخرت قرار داده و ثـواب آخـرت را عـوض گرفتـارى دنـیا.

Imam Javad Qoute
Imam Javad (PBUH) said: God will be satisfied if a person has three points:
1-Asking God for forgiveness a lot
2- Good companionship
3- Giving Sadaqah (Voluntary Charity) a lot
وَ قالَ الْجَوادُ عليه السلام: ثَـلاثٌ يَبْلُغْنَ بِالْعَبْدِ رِضْوانَ اللّه ِ تَعالى: كِثْـرَةُ الاْءسْتِغفـارِ وَلِينُ الْجانِبِ وَكَثْرةُ الصَّدَقَةِ
امام جواد عليه السلام فرمود: سه چيز است كه اگر در كسى باشد سبب خوشنودى خداست
زياد استغفار كردن
و همنشينى خوب
زياد صدقه دادن

Love toward Imam Hussain is not a one-sided love. He looks at us while we are crying for him and he prays for us and asks God to forgive us.

Our deepest condolence to the man left from the descendant of Imam Hussain, to Imam of our time, Imam Mahdi (May Allah Hasten his reappearance).
I prepared the following image by a quote from Imam Hussain, the prophet Muhammad’s grandson who said it on the way toward Karbala.

Each time when the supreme leader, Imam Khamenei, has a meeting with people at his official house, you can see an special quote related to that meeting with a great calligraphy on the wall behind the leader.
Several days ago, the leader had another meeting with the speaker, lawmakers and a number of staff members of the Iranian Parliament and you can see a quote by Imam Hussain (PBUH), the prophet Muhammad grandson, on that wall.
