Ashura | Prophet Muhammad Quote About Who Fight Imam Hussain
The following image is a quote about the holy prophet Muhammad’s view toward those who fight with Imam Hussain (PBUH) and those who are in peace with him in two Sunni references.
Although I prepared this quote before (at here) but I made it again with a dark background more suitable for the month of Muharram and day of Ashura
The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said to Ali, Fatemah, Hassan and Hussain (PBUH):
“I am in war with those who will fight you, and in peace with those who are peaceful to you.”

Ashura | Quote about Imam Hussain by Prophet Muhammad (6)
Recently , I searched again for the quotes about Imam Hussain, the prophet Muhammad’s grandson, in Sunni collections of quotes and I found some other traditions about him by the holy prophet Muhammad (PBUH) at here.
The following image is a quote I found it about the holy prophet Muhammad’s view toward those who fight with Imam Ali, Lady Fatima, Imam Hassan and Imam Hussain (PBUH).
I continued my search through the references mentioned below the quote for confirmation and I found it correct.
The Prophet said to Ali, Fatemah, Hasan and Hussain (PBUT):
“I am in war with those who will fight you, and in peace with those who are peaceful to you.”

Ashura | Why do we cry for Imam Hussain in Imam Khomeini’s view?
Imam Hussain was the prophet Muhammad’s grandson who refused to pay allegiance to the tyrant of his time thus he along with his few followers were all brutally killed on the day of Ashura at the battlefield of Karbala about 14 centuries ago but every year, Muslim people around the world participate in the mourning ceremonies and processions to commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Hussain.
Why they have been weeping for Imam Hussain for centuries?! Why the holy prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and other Shia Imams were crying for Imam Hussain and why they have also recommend us to cry for him (PBUH)?
Imam Khomeini , the founder of Islamic republic of Iran has stated the reason of weeping for Imam Hussain (PBUH) in his speech. The following image includes a part of Imam Khomeini’s speech in the year 1969 (several years before the victory of Islamic revolution).
Imam Khomeini stated in his speech:
“…Now, a group has appeared demanding that: “Do not commemorate the martyrdom of Imam Hussain (PBUH) and other Infallible Shia Imams.” They do not know the outcome and consequences of this mourning and lamentation. They do not realize that it is the uprising of Imam Hussain (PBUH) against tyranny that has been conserved up to this time and has set off this movement [Islamic revolution]. This movement is a ray, a reflection of Imam Hussain’s uprising. They do not know that weeping for Imam Hussain (PBUH) means perpetuation of his uprising and maintaining the fact that even a small number could stand up against a great empire. This is the Imam Hussain’s instruction. This is an instruction for all people that: “Every day is an Ashura and each territory is Karbala!” This instruction implies that Imam Hussain’s movement must be kept alive and active everywhere and at all times.
Imam Hussain (PBUH) with his few men scarified himself for Islam. He stood up and said: “No!” to a great empire ; and his “No” must be conserved daily and at everywhere; and these mourning sessions are also held for the perpetuation of the same “No”.
Our children and youth should not consider this matter as a matter of “weeping nation”. The “weeping nation” has been induced by others to you. They (the enemies of Islam) afraid of such weeping because it is a cry in support of the oppressed. It is an outcry in opposition to the tyrants. These organized processions and rituals are against the cruelty and injustice, They have rose up. You must keep these rituals alive. These are the religious signs which must be kept alive, These are the political signs which must be conserved…”

Quote for Muharram by Imam Reza (2)
Tonight is the first night of Muharram in 2018.
People around the world have been prepared for the mourning ceremonies since several days ago and now all over the cities are covered in black. The smell of Muharram has been propagated through the air and our hearts are started to be burned again for Imam Hussain’s martyrdom.
Tonight is the first night of mourning for the martyrdom of the prophet Muhammad’s grandson , Imam Hussain, in Shia believes as Imam Reza (PBUH) has stated:
“No one could have seen my father’s smile when the month of Muharram came. Sadness was increasing in his face day by day till the tenth of Muharram [day of Ashura] and when the tenth day of Muharram would dawn, it would be a day of grief and weeping for him.” – Imam Reza (PBUH)

Day of Ashura : A part of Imam Hussain’s Will
Imam Hussain (PBUH) was the prophet Muhammad’s grandson who was martyred on the day of Ashura in Karbala. He left a will before departing from the city of Medina and travelling toward Iraq. You will see A part of Imam Hussain’s will to his brother Muhammad-e-Hanafiya in the following image in three languages;
“I did not rise up for the cause of wickedness, amusement, corruption or oppression, but I rose up to reform the Muslim community of my grandfather [Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)]. I want to promote virtue and prevent vice.”
اني لم اخرج اشرا و لا بطرا و لامفسدا و لاظالما انما خرجت لطلب الاصلاح
في امة جدي و اريد ان امر با لمعروف و انهي عن المنكر

Show Your Love Toward Husayn on Arbaeen
When I was younger, I was seeing people in love with imam Husayn and I tried to understand this kind of Love but I couldn’t feel it. I could not understand the feeling of those people who want to go to Karbala as a pilgrim of Imam Husayn despite all troubles and dangers over there. Walking 80 Km to the holy shrine of Imam Husayn on the day of Arbaeen is a ridiculous way to choose despite all existing vehicle in theses days, but definitely It is a way to show our love toward Husayn to the world and let all the people in the world know that there is a true love differed from the other loves tried to show by Hollywood movies.
“God Loves who loves Hussain”
احب الله من احب حسینا
Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)
Walking on #Arbaeen is a way to introduce a man who gave all he had for God’s sake to save the last version of the religion from utter distortions; Walking on Arbaeen is a way to hasten the reappearance of Imam Mahdi.
