Mahdi and Jesus in a quote by Prophet Muhammad (PBUT)
Imam Mahdi is a man among the holy prophet Muhammad’s progeny and a man from the descendant of Imam Hussain (PBUH). He is the 12th Imam living among us now according to the Shia belief although we do not know him. It is stated that Imam Mahdi is the last savior of man who will fill the world with justice and equity when he reappears [Read the narration at here] and the holy prophet Jesus will descend from heaven to help him.

“Mahdi [PBUH] is from my progeny and when he reappears, Jesus [PBUH], the son of Mary, will descend to help him. He will follow Mahdi [PBUH] and pray behind him.”

مهدي (علیه السلام) از فرزندان من است، زماني که قيام مي‌کند، عيسي بن مريم (عليه‌السلام) جهت نصرت و ياري او [از آسمان] فرود مي‌آيد و حضرتش را [براي نماز] مقدّم مي‌دارد و در پی او نماز می گذارد

Lady Zeinab and her holy shrine in Syria
Our great condolence to Imam Mahdi (PBUH) for the martyrdom anniversary of lady Zainab, the prophet Muhammad’s grand daughter and the beloved Imam Hussain’s sister, the lady who watched how Yazid’s Army killed Imam Hussain and all of the men in her family one by one on one day, Ashura, in Karbala. She saw by herself how people who called themselves Muslim, cut the head of the prophet Muhammad’s grandson and his men in the same way the terrorist group of ISIL (Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant) murder innocent people in Syria nowadays. She observed how they moved the men’s heads in front of their women and children who were captured toward the land of “Sham” (or “Levant” in English). Sham is now called Syria where the holy shrine of lady Zainab (PBUH) is located.
The holy shrine of lady Zainab in Syria where “the defenders of the holy shrine“ are fighting against the terrorist group of ISIL not to allow them to close to the lady for one more time.

Mahdi will introduce himself by Hussain and the event of Ashura
Imam Mahdi is a man from the descendant of the holy prophet Muhammad and Imam Hussain (PBUH). Imam Mahdi is the 12th imam who Shia Muslims believe that he was born in year 255 (869) and he is now living among people although they do not know him.
It’s narrated that when Imam Mahdi reappeared, he will stand next to Ka’ba in Mecca, introduce himself by Imam Hussain and what happened on Ashura to him and state clearly five sentences:
