Day of Ashura 2017 : Nazri drinks distributed by Imam Hussain’s lovers among people
Nazri food and drinks are free food and drinks which are distributed among the mourners of Imam Hussain and all other people during the month of Muharram and especially on the day of Ashura.
Shia Muslims do not fast on Ashura. Thus, Some Shia Muslims prepare and hold up some stations on public places on the day of Ashura to distribute Nazri food and drinks among others for free. They do it for the happiness of God and to show their love toward Imam Hussain (PBUH) who was martyred on Ashura day while he was thirsty.
The following photos were sent to us from a group of shia Iranian young Muslims who held up a station on the way towards the holy shrine of Lady Masumah (PBUH) in Qom, Iran to offer chocolate milk and lemonade to the mourners and other people during the days of Tasua and Ashura.
Such stations are not related to any organizations or governments and they only charged by the people who love Imam Hussain.
