Ziyarat Ashura

In contrast to other prayers which are said by Imams, Ziyarat Ashura came from God to the prophet Muhammad (PBUH) through his angel, Gabriel. It means all the salutations to Imam Hussain (PBUH)  and his friends and all the curses to their murderers and to all the persecutors came from the great God and as we read Ziyarat Ashura, we actually say that we are not from the enemies of Imam Hussain (PBUH) and all the prophet Muhammad’s descendants and we want to be among their avengers helping the promised Mahdi.

Imam Sadiq (PBUH), the 6th Imam, recommended this Ziyarat to Safvan:

“Read Ziyarat Ashura and persist on reading it as I guarantee some good things for its readers:

1- Their Ziyarat will be accepted

2-Their perseverance will be thankful.

3-Their salutations will be received by Imam Hussain (PBUH)

4-Their wishes will gotten fulfilled by the great God and God dose not make them disappointed.”
